Fodor’s Travel has announced the latest in its series of travel photography contests, “Show Us Your Hawaii,” where North American visitors to the Fodor’s Travel website will have the opportunity to upload their favourite photos of Hawaii. Until March 28, 2010, Fodors.com members are invited to “Show Us Your Hawaii” by submitting their favourite vacation photos, and the stories behind them. One grand prize winner will have his/her photograph featured on Fodors.com and receive a suite of Fodor’s latest full-colour guidebooks. Ten runners up will win two Fodor’s guides of their choice and all winning photos will be featured in an online gallery. As always, we suggest that you read the rules before entering your work.

Fodor’s Announces New Photo Contest, “Show Us Your Hawaii”

New York, NY (PRWEB) March 8, 2010—Fodor’s Travel announces the latest in their series of travel photography contests, “Show Us Your Hawaii,” where visitors to Fodors.com will have the opportunity to upload and share their favorite photos of Hawaii with other travelers and the chance to win Fodor’s guides.

Until March 28, 2010, Fodors.com members are invited to “Show Us Your Hawaii” by submitting their favorite vacation photos, and the stories behind them. One grand prize winner will have his/her photograph featured on fodors.com and receive a suite of Fodor’s latest full-color guidebooks. Ten runners up will win two Fodor’s guides of their choice and all winning photos will be featured in an online gallery at www.fodors.com and will be eligible to appear in upcoming editions of Fodor’s Hawaii.

Photo submissions will be accepted at www.fodors.com/contest/hawaii/ from March 8th to March 28th, 2010. Fodor’s has previously run contests for France, Italy, Palm Beach, Las Vegas, Italy, Argentina, National Parks, Chicago, Maryland, Alaska photos and more.

The winning photograph of previous contest, “Show Us Your Italy” will be featued on the cover of upcoming guidebook Fodor’s Italy 2011, on sale October 5, 2010. This will mark the first time a major guidebook publisher has printed a photograph from a travel community member on a guidebook cover. Winning photos from all previous contests can be seen on www.fodors.com.
