Sigma UK have announced a new dp0 Quattro kit, comprising the ultra-wide-angle dp0 Quattro and LVF-01 LCD Viewfinder. Featuring a 14mm F4 lens (equivalent to a 21mm lens on a 35mm camera) and a Foveon sensor, the Sigma dp0 Quattro (read review) is perfectly suited to landscape photography - while the addition of the Sigma LVF-01 LCD Viewfinder cuts off outside light and magnifies the LCD display 2.5 times, allowing photographers to check focusing and composition more easily. SIGMA dp0 Quattro + LVF-01 LCD Viewfinder

Sigma Imaging (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce a dp0 Quattro kit, comprising the ultra-wide-angle dp0 Quattro and LVF-01 LCD Viewfinder, with a Suggested Retail Price of £999.99.

The SIGMA dp0 Quattro is the 4th dp camera in the Quattro series and incorporates a high performance 14mm F4 lens (equivalent to a 21mm lens on a 35mm SLR). Perfectly suited to landscape photographers, the addition of the SIGMA LVF-01 LCD Viewfinder cuts off outside light and magnifies the LCD display 2.5 times, allowing photographers to check focusing and composition more easily.

The SIGMA dp0 Quattro’s 14mm F4 lens achieves the highest optical performance, and features 4 FLD (“F” Low Dispersion) glass elements, which have performance equal to fluorite, 2 SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements and 2 aspheric lenses, including a wide double-sided aspheric lens. This reduces chromatic aberration and distortion, characteristics that are often present in super wide angle photography.

With the addition of the “SIGMA dp0 Quattro” to the line-up, photographers can select the most suitable camera based on their photographic needs; 21mm (SIGMA dp0 Quattro), 28mm (SIGMA dp1 Quattro), 45mm (SIGMA dp2 Quattro), 75mm (SIGMA dp3 Quattro) and 90mm (SIGMA dp3 Quattro + dedicated conversion lens 1.2x).

The SIGMA LVF-01 LCD Viewfinder is exclusively designed for Quattro series and achieves clear visibility by incorporating a high performance lens and coating. Similar to the viewfinder of a DSLR, it is possible to hold it stably, thus reducing camera shake, and look at the detail of the image. Its diopter adjustment range is from -2 to +1.
