Besides turning your own Flickr photostream into an easy-to-use slideshow, Sliders can display photos that match keywords specified by the user, displaying a rich selection of thematic photos on your device. "With Sliders, an iPad that’s sitting in a corner, waiting to be used, is turned into a gorgeous picture frame," says developer Babak Fakhamzadeh. Sliders is now available for free on the iTunes App Store. After 1st July, the price of the app will be $0.99.

Sliders, for both iPads and iPhones, is a new mobile app that turns any iOS device into a digital photo frame. Besides turning your own Flickr photos into an easy-to-use slideshow, sliders can display photos that match keywords specified by the user, displaying a rich selection of thematic photos on your device. When not explicitly displaying photos from one specific user, only images with a creative commons license are shown.

Sliders is now available in the iOS app store and is temporarily available for free. After July 1, the price of Sliders will be $0.99 (or equivalent).

With Sliders, families can turn their idle iPad into a digital photo frame showing the favorite family photos, or the most beautiful photos on the subjects of their choosing.

With Sliders, photographers can turn an iPad into a presentational tool, in their studios, during professional pitches or at home.
