U.S.-based expansion includes senior managers from Nik Software/Google

U.S. Office & Operations
Kiev-based MacPhun also recently opened up a new office based in San Diego, California and secured seasoned professionals from venerable software developer Nik Software. This will include initiating educational programs, industry event participation, broadening the company’s social community involvement, and growing a new reseller, distribution, and affiliate network in the coming months. The U.S. team is led by Morneé Sherry, Kevin La Rue, and Matt Cummins, all formerly of Nik Software which was acquired by Google in October 2012. Sherry headed up channel sales, distribution, and worldwide business development for Nik, while La Rue led U.S. marketing and direct sales efforts for the company. As a senior product manager, Cummins guided the development of one of Nik’s most successful products, HDR Efex Pro.
