Sony DSC-W7 Review at PC Magazine

Sony DSC-W7PC Magazine have published their review of the Sony DSC-W7, a 7 megapixel digital camera with a 2.5 inch LCD screen, battery life of 380 shots between power charges and 32 megabytes of internal memory.

“In our tests, the W7 did fairly well. In both our simulated-daylight and flash test shots, we found very little noise, along with strong, accurate color—especially the yellows and oranges, which really popped. There was also very little fringing in the photos. But in both daylight and flash shots, we found the images to be about one f-stop underexposed. Also, the contrast was too strong, and details tended to get lost in the shadows. Flash strength was acceptable, although we would have preferred it to be a little stronger. In real-world shooting, we saw a bit of purple fringing in a few of the photos, but nothing uncommon.”
