Standing Up, Moving Forward

Fujifilm has just announced a television special feature entitled ‘Standing Up, Moving Forward’, which introduces the efforts of all the people involved in relief and reconstruction activities in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake. The special feature is being broadcast from June 10-12 by Japan International Broadcasting. UK viewers can see the ‘Standing up, Moving Forward’ programmes on NHK (SKY channel 518) today, tomorrow and on Sunday at the times listed in the announcement below.

FUJIFILM Supports Great East Japan Earthquake television special

FUJIFILM Corporation is pleased to announce a television special feature entitled ‘Standing Up, Moving Forward’ which introduces the efforts of all the people involved in relief and reconstruction activities in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake, and highlights the potential of Japan to recover fully from the disaster.
Sponsored by Fujifilm, the special feature includes a series of three short infomercials that showcase the various efforts of members of the Fujifilm Group to provide aid and assistance to areas heavily impacted by the disaster.
The special feature is being broadcast from June 10-12 by Japan International Broadcasting Inc – a member of the NHK group which specialises in the broadcast of programs about Japan and Japanese affairs to international audiences.
UK viewers can see the ‘Standing up, Moving Forward’ programmes on NHK (SKY channel 518) at the following times:
Friday June 10th – 17;30, 21;30 – programme one includes the infomercial highlighting efforts to restore the FinePix X100 production plant in the aftermath of the disaster
Saturday June 11th – 01:30, 05:30, 09:30, 13:30, 17:30, 21:30 – programme two includes the infomercial highlighting Fujifilm‘s Photo Rescue Project in the affected area
Sunday, June 12 ? 01:30, 05:30, 09:30, 13:30, 17:30, 21:30 - programme three includes the infomercial featuring Fujifilm’s provision of medical-related support in the stricken areas
In addition to SKY, the programmes will also be broadcast on Freesat and can also be streamed from the NHK international broadcast website http://jibtv.com .
