Fox&Squirrel revitalise the London Cityscape on a series of Street Photography tours. Our tours' popularity in London has inspired us to take our Street Photography to a next level by creating a summer course dedicated to the practice and to exploring London. Join expert photographer Stuart Beesley, voted Travel Photographer of the year 2010, on a one month street photography course, unveiling the delectable nuances of London's urban jungle, while at the same time tackling those dreadful techi queries, composition, light and subject matters...

The summer school will follow a similar equation to the existing street photography walks but will also include a workshop that will help develop your editing skills. The course takes the following shape: 3 Saturday (13th, 20th and 27th of July) walks (Chelsea, Soho and Camden) ending with a Sunday workshop (28th ) in Fox & Squirrel's studio on Camden High Street.

If you have a passion for photography and are fascinated by London and life on the city's streets  you'll love this street photography walking course designed to explore this exciting photography practice and to inspire and motivate your own creativity and vision. As well as dealing with the technical aspects of picture making this course is also designed to develop your own personal photography portfolio.

Fox&Squirrel’s Street Photography walking course is a great way to transform the way you experience London and your surroundings. Whether it's through a fleeting snap-shot on your smart-phone, or an insightful photograph on your SLR, Fox&Squirrel’s Street Photography walk has been created with the intent to reveal shots previously overlooked.

Stuart Beesley begins the course with a discussion on the importance of subject by making available examples of works by masters of street photography. Following this discussion you will embark on a two- hour exploration of London with a set subject in mind. The aim is to keep your eye focused, while assisting you with the perfect frame.

The next two walks tackle the following issues: practice and techniques used on the go, again citing masters of street photography, we will help you develop your own technique that will boost your confidence with photographing subjects in public while also enhancing your personal style, and finally the issue of successful story telling through images.

The Fox & Squirrel Street Photography Walking Course will end with a workshop during which you will develop your photo-editing skills in Adobe Lightroom (or preferred editing suits).

We offer a limited amount of spaces for press wishing to review a Fox&Squirrel guided walks, if you are interested in attending please contact Penelope at [email protected].
