Sydney Opera House Photo ContestSydney Opera House and HP are running a global photography competition called House in Focus. The lucky winner will have their best shot exhibited at Sydney Opera House, where thousands of visitors will see it every week, and also win a HP TouchSmart PC. Two runners up will each receive a large scale canvas of their image, a roof tile from Sydney Opera House (collected during the original construction) and a book, Building a masterpiece: the Sydney Opera House. You just need to upload your image of Sydney Opera House to enter the contest. Voting of the images is open to the public who can vote until midnight on July 30, when three winners will be selected by the judging panel.

Judging and rules
Each entrant may submit up to five photographs for entry. Photographs must contain part or all of Sydney Opera House or an interpretation of Sydney Opera House (no photos to be taken from inside the building). Voting is open to all and the final ten photographs will be determined by the number of votes submitted for each photograph. The final three photographs will be judged by Jan Utzon, Eric Sierens and Michael Mendenhall. HP/Snapfish will enlarge the winning photo onto a 40” X 30” canvas print (subject to photo resolution, see http://www.snapfish.com.au/helpphotoresolution). The winning canvas print will be displayed in the Western Foyer of Sydney Opera House during September (dates tbc). Prize winners will be notified by Sydney Opera House within 21 days of the photo competition closing. Formal announcement of winning photo will be made in Inhouse (Sydney Opera House’s e-newsletter) and on our website within 28 days of the competition closing.
