Take Photos in the Dark Without a Flash
Planet82 Press Release
Planet82 Exhibits How to Take Digital Pictures in the Dark Without a Flash at CES 2007 January 8-11, 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show
LAS VEGAS, NV—(MARKET WIRE)—January 02, 2007—WHAT: Please join Planet82 at CES as they shed light on taking digital pictures or video in the dark—without a flash. Planet82 will showcase the latest advances in its Single carrier Modulation Photo Detector (SMPD) technology, including a black and white, full-color, and two mega pixel color sensors. These imaging sensors are 2000 times more sensitive to light and enable everything digital—from mobile camera phones to the automobile sensors—to “see” and capture the real picture without the distortion, delay or energy-expense of a flash.
WHY: This is one of those “shouldn’t be missed” opportunities to see cutting-edge, digital imaging sensor nanotechnology in action. Planet82 will demonstrate the world’s first full-color, high resolution imaging chip, showcasing how it works in Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and night-vision automobile applications.
WHERE: International Consumer Electronics Show 2007, Sands Convention Center, Innovations Plus Booth #70600. To see a map to the booth, please visit http://www.brodeur.com/planet82/floorplan.html
