A versatile new device has been introduced into the UK and Ireland by Kenro which allows you to securely fix a camera, phone, flash or tablet to a variety of objects.

The new Takeway Clampod T1 is manufactured from aerospace grade aluminium alloy, making it lighter and stronger than many other camera clamps - weighing just 200g, including ball head.

Designed to firmly hold most photo and lighting devices in place, the Clampod T1 is supplied with its own ball head with quick release mechanism (load capacity 3kg), or users may use their own if required. The clamp body has a maximum load capacity of 40kg.

The T1 can be fixed to a variety of solid objects including handlebars, surfboards, sports equipment, cars, tree branches, railings, etc., allowing photos, video footage or selfies from any angle.

The cubic 'jaw' tip offers a rotatable tip with three different sides: X side, smooth side, and cubic. You can choose the appropriate side for different surfaces to make clamping easier and more stable. You can attach your electronic products securely and easily, even on an irregular surface.

Most standard cylinders can be clamped with the inner jaw - it can clamp on cylinders whose diameter is between 16mm and 30mm.

The ergonomic disc handle is made of soft plastic and is precise and simple to use, allowing the user to screw in the clamp quickly and easily.

Not only does the clamp mechanism provide a very stable platform, the removable base forms a tripod-like stand to allow the unit to sit on flat and angled surfaces.
