Norderstedt, July 2004. TETENAL extends its huge spectra jet roll paper range with another high quality special paper for large format ink jet prints. The Photo Fine Art Carton combines the precision of a modern photo paper with the classical grace of traditional art paper due to its 308 g weight and matte coated surface. It is therefore especially suitable for reproducing exclusive images, such as portrait photography or artistic and historic images. Due to the exact colouring, high colour gamut and ability to reflect the finest b/w nuances, it is aimed specifically to photographers and artists who want their images printed to the highest quality as large format prints. Furthermore the acid free Photo Fine Art Carton 308 g is especially suitable for distinctive applications such as certificates or special POS displays. Because of its extreme high colour saturation the results, when used with pigment inks also are of excellent quality. The users of pigment-based ink printers, such as the EPSON Stylus Pro range, therefore have the benefit of long durability when using this exceptional material.

About the TETENAL spectra jet roll programme:
Due to the special coating, the TETENAL spectra jet roll paper programme guarantees a universal reproduction with all large format printers, giving short drying times. Furthermore certain papers, such as the Photo Glossy 272 g or the Semi Matte 240 g paper, have a water resistant surface, which for some applications makes lamination unnecessary. When used with special ICC profiles, which TETENAL offers free of charge for most of its papers, the colour reproduction of prints made with PhotoShop is guaranteed. The TETENAL spectra jet roll programme contains different high quality special medias in various formats for various applications. Alongside the matte and glossy papers, the range includes also special materials such as “Canvas Textile” - a coated cotton cloth with a distinctive texture which users are easily able to differentiate from competitors’ products.

The EPSON Stylus Pro 7600 and the EPSON Stylus Pro 9600, which accept print widths of 24 and 44 inches respectively, are placing new quality standards in the digital LFP field. The Large Format systems produce high quality and consistent ink jet proofs at an attractive price. With the new EPSON UltraChrome ink set, the printers can easily simulate the colour gamut and therefore fulfil the customary proofing standards. Due to the 7-colour ink technology, with black ink optimisation as well as the additional light black ink, an excellent photo print and skin colour reproduction can be achieved.
