The London School of Photography is holding an exhibition showcasing the work of students from its first part-time professional photography course. The exhibition will be held from September 5 to 10, 2012 at the Blackall Studios, Shoreditch. An invitation-only private view and opening party will be held on September 5.

The exhibition will show photography by the fifteen students who have completed the first course of its type to be run by the School. During the course, the students covered the fundamentals of professional photography (photography foundations, photojournalism, street, studio lighting, portraiture, food and product photography and Photoshop). The exhibition gives the students their first opportunity to exhibit before embarking on their photography careers. Their work will evidence a wide range of subjects, techniques and media. Exhibition opening hours are 10:00-18:00.

In parallel with the exhibition and at the same venue, the School is also holding two workshops. A one day iPhoneography workshop (September 7, 10:30-16:30) and a 2-day Foundations + Street Photography workshop (September 8-9, 10:30-16:30).

An exhibition catalogue will be available. For more information and applications for private view invitations, see the exhibition website or contact Luciana Franzolin.
