Turn your passion for photography into a profession

The Photography Show has teamed up with Aspire Photography Training, a multi-award winning photography training company, to bring passionate photographers an exciting new competition offering a keen amateur the chance to pursue a creative and fulfilling career in photography.

The Photography Show (21-24 March, NEC, Birmingham) will showcase the very best of photography talent, the latest kit and the biggest brand names in imaging. This year’s show will provide a perfect setting to springboard two lucky people towards making their career dreams a reality.

The two prizes on offer have a combined value of over eight thousand pounds and are a chance to win a place on the Aspire Bespoke programme, or access to an online course of Advanced Webinars.

The Prizes

The first prize is a place on the coveted Aspire Bespoke programme, which counts pro-photographers Brett Harkness, Damien Lovegrove and Tamara Peel amongst its successful graduates. This 12 month course will show photographers how to build a successful photography business in the area of their choice. Over the 12 month period the winner will visit the Aspire studio, based in Cumbria, where they will receive intensive photographic and business training.

Previous Bespoke graduate, and one of the biggest names in Wedding Photography, Brett Harkness explains how the course helped him: ‘It has saved me years of making mistakes, giving me the direction and confidence to get where I wanted to be in only 12 months. We have now got the life I dreamed of when I did my photography degree and moved into a new studio with a gallery that allows me to exhibit my personal travel and commercial work. We have managed to do all this in a way which now allows me to take the pictures I want to take.” Brett Harkness, professional photographer

The second prize is access to a full course of Advanced Webinars designed to help existing photographers take their business to the next level. The intense four week course is experienced online, so the winner can learn at their own pace.
