The Schloßparkmuseum in Bad Kreuznach is hosting a special exhibition entitled, “The World in Focus – 100 Years of Schneider Optische Werke Bad Kreuznach.” In the past 100 years, Schneider Kreuznach played an instrumental role in the history of optics in Germany and gained worldwide recognition especially in the field of large- and medium-format camera lenses. “The company has always aimed for the highest quality rather than quantity; we still feel committed to this aspiration,” says Dr. Josef Staub, CEO of the Schneider Group. The exhibition will be on display from 17 February to 31 August 2013.

Anniversary exhibition: 100 years of SCHNEIDER KREUZNACH

BAD KREUZNACH, 14 February 2013

The history of Schneider-Kreuznach from its beginnings to the present day is the subject of a special exhibition in Schloßparkmuseum in Bad Kreuznach. Under the title “The World in Focus – 100 Years of Schneider Optische Werke Bad Kreuznach”, the museum presents exhibits documenting the lens manufacturer’s impressive and varied development, and is thus a chronicle of the history of optical innovation.

Schneider-Kreuznach played an instrumental role in the history of optics in Germany and is today a global market leader in the area of leading-edge optical technology. Throughout the company’s 100-year history, lenses made by Schneider-Kreuznach have always stood for exceptional precision and robustness, whether for photography, cinema projection, or industrial applications. “The company has always aimed for the highest quality rather than quantity; we still feel committed to this aspiration,” says Dr. Josef Staub, CEO of the Schneider Group.
