The StoreJet 2.5 uses a stylishly designed, polished aluminum case which houses a modern 2.5-inch SATA hard drive. To ensure performance, the StoreJet 2.5 makes use of its Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface, which provides data transfer rates up to 480Mbits per second while maintaining full compatibility with older computers that only support USB 1.1. Inside the StoreJet’s streamlined shell is a new-generation, high-capacity 250GB HDD that supports transfer rates of up to 1.5Gb/s via “point to point” data connections. Not only is this new drive is noticeably faster, but at the same time it saves power with its low operating voltage.
