Triscape Announces FxFoto Version 2.1 and New Online Photo Sharing Partners

FxFoto Standard, Deluxe Collage, and Pro Media now provide easy Upload Wizard for online photo sharing and printing partners

WINDHAM, NH, Nov. 22, 2004 - Triscape, Inc. today announced enhancements to its popular software suites, officially making available FxFoto 2.1 Standard, Deluxe Collage, and Pro Media Editions.  FxFoto is targeted at photography enthusiasts and advanced multimedia users giving them everything the need to edit, organize and present their digital pictures.  FxFoto 2.1 Standard is available today as a fully functional free download, while the Deluxe Collage Edition can be obtained for $29.99 and Pro Media Edition for $39.99.  All titles are upgradeable to Pro Media Edition.

Triscape is providing its updates free of charge for all current users. Included in the update is a new “Upload Wizard” that facilitates seamless uploading of images to Triscape’s newly announced online photo sharing and printing partners abcphotolab.com, Smugmug.com, and Myphotoalbum.com. Additional partners will be announced in future versions.

FxFoto Standard Edition is a highly complete package for organizing, correcting, and sharing digital photos. It organizes photos visually and by timeline, which is the most natural way people work with photos. The Standard Edition also includes editing and correction tools that go way beyond typical entry-level packages, yet are very easy to use.  Sharing includes printing and emailing with smart compression of photos for efficient email.  Improvements include the ability to easily open multiple photos for uploading and other operations via a single convenient command.  Creativity features enable framing effects and simple slide shows.  The software also includes the ability to intelligently archive data to CD-ROM.  Far superior to shareware and even established software titles in its class, the Standard Edition is available for free with no restrictions.

FxFoto Deluxe Collage Edition adds creativity features to the Standard Edition, which include multi-photo collages, scrap-booking, slide shows with many 2D and 3D special effects, soundtracks, and photo stitching for multi-photo panoramas and documents with multiple pages. All creations can be e-mailed or prepped for CD burning for playback on any PC without the need for additional ?player? or ?reader? software.  Additional enhancements have been made to the Deluxe Collage Edition with this version, allowing MP3 music to be added to slide shows and making it easier to re-order slides.

FxFoto Pro Media Edition builds on the Deluxe Edition by enabling the creation and publishing of photo-based movies and slide shows, complete with effects, soundtracks, and text.  Slide shows and MPEG movies can be created for CD-ROM (VCD and SVCD format) and DVD, which can play on most standard home DVD players.  Titles can also be published directly to Web sites using FxFoto plug-in technology, allowing visitors to view the show without the need for additional embedded software.  Music files including MP3 and OOG format are also supported.  The Pro Media Edition also gives professionals the ability to publish restricted collages and slide shows that cannot be viewed, printed, or edited except by the original author after they expire ? ideal for commercial use.

FxFoto will run under Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. It requires 128MB of RAM and 4MB of free hard disk space.

Availability
