Epson UK Press Release
Epson Stylus PRO 4800 and 7800 to make their UK debut at Adobe Live!
26th-27th May 2005 - The Epson stand (number 230) at Adobe Live 2005 will see the UK debut of two of Epson’s brand new large format printers; the Epson Stylus PRO 4800 and the Epson Stylus PRO 7800.
Marking a new era in digital imaging, both the Epson Stylus PRO 4800 (17” wide) and the Stylus PRO 7800 (24” wide) incorporate the innovative new Epson UltraChrome K3 inkset, a new standard in ink technology for the photographic, design and proofing markets.
Unlike other inks, the Epson UltraChrome K3 8-colour ink set has three black inks, as well as a full set of colour inks, offering the ultimate in black and white printing and colour. The 8 ink cartridges in the UltraChrome K3 ink set produce a wide colour gamut for accurate reproduction of saturated colours and accurate simulation of industry proofing standards. Furthermore, it delivers prints that look good in any lighting condition, and have a professional finish even when printed on glossy media.
In addition to the UltraChrome K3 8-colour inkset, the Epson Stylus PRO 4800 and Stylus PRO 7800 also feature a high resolution of up to 2880dpi, flexible media handling and lightfast images of up to 75 years in colour and over 200 years in black and white. To see live product demonstrations, please visit the Epson stand (number 230)
