Digital Outback Photo have started a new series called “Digital Photography Essentials” which aims to look at the more technical, scientific side of digital photography. The first article in the series, “Image Sensor Size and Field of View”, is by Dick Merrill from Foveon (the company behind the sensor used in the Sigma SD-9 digital SLR).
