University of Kent Photography Exhibition
Graduates in BA Honours Photography at the University of Kent are displaying their work at an exhibition starting this week. One of the students, Sallie Neal, says “the exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to see a diverse range of work by the BA students. We are very proud of all we have achieved this year.” The exhibition takes place at Royal Victoria Place in Tunbridge Wells, open to the public on Tuesday 24th June through to Sunday 29th June. Students who have just graduated in BA Honours Photography at the University of Kent are displaying their work at an exhibition starting this week. A selection of all the students work will be presented on the Food Court Terrace, in the Royal Victoria Place in Tunbridge Wells. A private view, by invitation only will take place on Monday the 23rd June. The exhibition will be open to the public on Tuesday 24th June through to Sunday 29th June. The centre is open 9am – 6pm Monday to Saturday, Thursday 9am – 8pm and Sunday 10:30am – 4:30pm.
The focus of the course is on both individual and intuitive photography. The extremely high standard of work has attracted sponsorship from a variety of sources including PhotographyBLOG, University of Kent, West Kent College, Blake Friedmann, DSTL, Westfield, Francis Lincoln, Maison Mignon, Mediatek, Chirotic and Windsor Print.
The students are the first to undertake the inaugural degree year based at West Kent College in Tonbridge. One of the students, Sallie Neal, says “the exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to see a diverse range of work by the BA students. We are very proud of all we have achieved this year.” It is hoped the exhibition will bring to life the energy, imagination and passion for photography that all the students share.
