Featuring a unique, remote shutter release built into the grip handle, the GH-300T pistol grip ball head enables users to trip their camera’s shutter without pulling their hand from the grip. The GH-300T also features two panning axes: a 72-click-point panning base just below the camera mounting plate for precise panoramic images, and a second 360-degree panning base at the tripod mounting base for following subjects in motion. WHITMORE LAKE, Mich. (CES Booth #31665)—- VANGUARD, a global leader in imaging accessories, today unveiled its most versatile, innovative photographic tripods and tripod head yet at the 2013 International CES in Las Vegas.

The ground breaking GH-300T pistol grip ball head with built-in shutter release trigger reinvents the standard for what a tripod head can do. When paired with the ABEO Pro tripod, also introduced at CES 2013, the two provide unmatched, unlimited versatility for photographers.

GH-300T Pistol Grip Ball Head with Shutter Release Trigger

Featuring a unique, remote shutter release built into the grip handle, GH-300T enables users to trip their camera’s shutter without pulling their hand from the grip. It’s ideal for pursuing, and capturing, fast-moving subjects, even while making zoom lens adjustments.

To operate the release trigger in bulb, or “B” mode, simply slide the release trigger mechanism upward to manually control exposure time by depressing the release trigger. GH-300T employs a universal 2.5 mm DC shutter release cable input jack and comes with two cables compatible with 80 percent of DSLRs on the market today (other cables available separately).

GH-300T also features two panning axes: a 72-click-point panning base just below the camera mounting plate for precise panoramic images, and a second 360-degree panning base at the tripod mounting base for following subjects in motion. This second axis also makes GH-300T a perfect choice video work with an HDSLR.

With a locking force rated for over 17.5 lbs., GH-300T supports standard and large zoom lenses with impressive security. Its universal, 38mm quick release system with clamp knob and safety pin is compatible with other 38mm systems and allows for micro adjustments forward and backward while providing a steady center of gravity and no worries of accidental release.

Like its predecessors in VANGUARD’s GH series, GH-300T provides smooth movements with impressive ergonomic control, thanks to its anodized center ball and Grip Position Release system.

The GPR System with pistol grip-style handle lets you unlock, reposition and lock gear into place with ease. Depression of the handle allows 360-degrees of panning movement and -32 to +90-degrees of side-to-side tilt and -8 to +90-degree back to front tilt movement all round. It instantly locks into place by simply releasing the handle. Its Friction Control System allows you to modify the level of resistance on the ball to accommodate changing equipment weight.

ABEO Plus 323AV tripod with fluid video head

Featuring the new PH-123V video pan head with adjustable drag tension, ABEO Plus 323AV provides incredibly smooth pan and tilt functions and a rigid magnesium, closed-type construction for steady videography with HD camcorders and add-ons.

A spring loaded counterbalance system makes it easy to work with heavy equipment and is easily activated and deactivated with a large, ergonomic switch.

PH-123V video head also features a large quick shoe with safety release button and front-to-back, fine tuning movements for perfect placement.

Built to support more than 17.5 lbs., PH-123V also has a long handle for positioning heavy equipment. For use with other add-ons, PH-123V features a ¼” and 3/8” attachment interface.

ABEO Plus 323AT aluminum alloy tripod delivers the unwavering support videographers demand. Its unique Quick Height Adjustment center column locking mechanism enables instant height changes with minimal effort. Simply flip the large lever lock open, adjust to the desired height, and flip the lock back into place.
