Pro+ joins new Pro range for saving 4K video footage and photos

London, UK – 24 June 2015: Expanding its range of SD and micro SD memory cards, Verbatim has launched Pro+. Reaching Class 10 and UHS-I Speed Class 3 (U3) standard, the SD cards are ideal for safely saving and sharing 4K ultra HD video and photographic capture images from DSLR and advanced HD video cameras.

A read speed up to 90MB/s provides ultra fast access to 4K full HD video recordings while a write speed of up to 80MB/s ensures the data is captured and stored very swiftly too. This is particularly beneficial to DSLR camera owners selecting continuous frame shooting (burst mode) when using the larger RAW image format.

Verbatim’s Pro+ is currently available in SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) with 32GB capacity and SDXC  (Secure Digital Extended Capacity) with 64GB capacity.

Besides Pro+ memory cards, Verbatim introduces the Pro range, which is also suitable for 4K video capture. This range of SDHC and SDXC SD cards, also rated at UHS-I Speed Class 3, has a read speed of 90MB/s and a write speed up to 45MB/s, and is aimed at users of advanced cameras and HD camcorders. The Pro range comes in microSD format as well to allow users of action cameras like GoPro and drones to take advantage of a ultra HD recording.
