Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.2 SE for Sony Alpha

April 17, 2020 | Mark Goldstein | Lenses | Comment |

The Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.2 SE is a new ultra-fast wide-angle prime lens for Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras.

The “SE” (Still Edition) branded lens is smaller and cheaper than previous Voigtlander Sony lenses thanks to the removal of the declick mechanism for video recording and a simpler internal design.

The Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.2 SE is comprised of 9 elements in 7 groups, has 12 aperture blades, weighs 387g and measures 66.5 × 59.9mm.

The suggested retail price (excluding tax) is JPY 115,000 and the lens is scheduled to be released in May 2020.
