Voigtländer Nokton 21mm F1.4 Aspherical Lens for Sony E-Mount

The Voigtländer Nokton 21mm F1.4 Aspherical lens for Sony E-mount that was first shown at the CP+ show in Japan back in February has now been officially unveiled.
This new wide-angle prime lens is suitable for both APS-C Sony cameras such as the Alpha A6400, and full-frame cameras like the Alpha A7R III / A7 III.
It has a built-in electronic contact for Sony E mount, so that the shooting data is recorded in the Exif information. In addition, the lens has a built-in distance encoder which supports 5-axis camera shake correction on the camera body side.
The optical configuration of the Voigtländer Nokton 21mm F1.4 Aspherical lens is comprised of 13 elements in 11 groups, with a minimum shooting distance of 25cm and a maximum shooting magnification of 1:7.5.
The aperture click switching mechanism helps to ensure that the aperture ring operation sound is not picked up during movie recording.
Pricing
The Voigtländer Nokton 21mm F1.4 Aspherical is priced at ¥165,000 and will be available in June 2019.
