VueScan 8.4.60 Fully Supports Skew Correction

Hamrick Software, the developer of VueScan, the world’s most widely used 3rd party scanning software, has released VueScan 8.4.60 which now includes support for skew correction.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) February 19, 2008—Hamrick Software, the developer of VueScan, the world’s most widely used 3rd party scanning software, has released its latest version 8.4.60 - which now includes support for skew correction. This means that any document or photo that has been placed in the scanner slightly askew (rotated) can now be straightened from within VueScan, and without the need to physically rotate the document or image and then rescanning.

VueScan is used by many people for speed, and having to physically rotate their document or image can cost much time. Skew correction allows them make the changes from within VueScan, and therefore saves them frustration and time. We think that this feature will be very useful for our customers, as it is not widely available with other scanning software. VueScan is available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
