Hall 4.1, stand G011/H018, Photokina 2006, Cologne, Germany, 26 September – 1 October 2006- “Let your work flow” will be the theme for Wacom’s presentation at Photokina 2006. At the show, the company will be showcasing its products for professional and amateur photographers and their integration into the digital workflow. Wacom’s products enhance the creative process. They enable photographers to easily and intuitively edit their digital pictures, saving time and money. At the same time, they give every photographer the freedom to fully explore his creative potential, making picture editing a truly creative, artistic process.
Demonstrations and presentations on the booth will show how to improve the workflow in digital imaging by integrating Wacom’s products. Visitors will be able to test and experience the Intuos3 pen tablet system and the Cintiq 21UX Interactive Pen Display as well as the consumer range of Graphire4 pen tablets.
Daily stage presentations for professionals and photo enthusiasts will highlight the benefits of using pen tablets and Interactive Pen Displays in the digital workflow:
Robin Preston, Senior Evangelist for Wacom has been a digital imaging expert for more than a decade, and will present professional digital imaging based on Wacom’s Intuos3 pen tablet system and Adobe Photoshop CS2.
Doc Baumann, renowned Photoshop expert and author, will show visitors how a digital photo becomes a painting using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and the Wacom Intuos3.
Photographer Michael Ebert will highlight a very special project based on historical pictures from the American Civil War, which he digitally restores using a Cintiq 21UX Interactive pen display.
Photographer Tobias Hagedorn will give a consumer-oriented presentation, focusing on tips and tricks for Graphire4 – the easy way to better pictures.
Additionally, Wacom will have a daily imaging trivia game where visitors have the chance to win digital imaging products.
