Wacom sponsors Train to Create and Pratik Naik high-end photo retouching series

Seminar and workshops with the world-renowned retoucher, focusing on beauty and hair images

24th October 2013 - Wacom is sponsoring the Train to Create and Pratik Naik (aka Solsticeretouch) photo retouching series that consists of a seminar at and a one day intensive workshop. Taking place from 15th-17th November in London, the world-renowned beauty retoucher will share his techniques including his use of Wacom tablets, as well as provide hands-on mentoring to attendees. Pratik is best known for his work with Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, FHM, Cosmopolitan and The Observer.

Organised by Train to Create, the Pratik Naik photo retouching series will open with a seminar for students. In addition to Pratik, there will also be a line-up of presenters from the fashion and photography world.

The workshop is held over the weekend and attendees can choose which day to attend. Focus will be given to retouching beauty and fashion shots to make them look perfect, while not being digitally obvious. Attendees will learn about whitening and straightening teeth, redefining lips, reshaping and resizing the nose, sharpening the eyes, perfecting facial features, adding and removing makeup, creating different skintones, hair correction and removing skin flaws to produce that ‘Vogue magazine output.’

During the workshops, attendees will get the opportunity to work with Wacom devices including the recently launched Cintiq Companion creative tablets that enable users to work wherever they want, and the new line-up of Intuos pen tablets. They will be shown how to customise a Wacom tablet for retouching in order to get the most out of it.

There are a limited number of tickets currently available for the workshop. For further information, visit www.traintocreate.com/project/pratik-naik
