What a Wonderful World

The Act’Image Association has launched a major European photographic contest titled What a Wonderful World. The competition, whose central theme is urban transformation in Europe, allows people from all over the world to enter their work via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #waww2015. The jury will award prizes in two categories - single entries and photo essays consisting of 15 images each. The deadline for entries is 30 September 2015.

The web 3.0 photo contest open to all : What a Wonderful World
Seizing the opportunity of the Mérignac Photographic Festival which takes place from October 8 to 11, 2015, Act’Image Association is launching a big European photographic contest: What a Wonderful World.
This contest, open to all, professional and amateur, regardless of age, sex or nationality, but over 18 years of age, is being made public through the social networks: Act’Image’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #waww2015.
It allows people from all over the world to post their pictures. Through the participation of all the citizens of the world, we would like to show that Man is able to renew, adapt and create change.
Urban transformations in Europe: this contest highlights the constructive and uplifting initiatives that generate harmony between man and his environment.
Each person who wants to participate just has to post a photo or a series of 15 pictures which enhances an European action or event. The goal is for each one to give his or her vision of What A Wonderful World.
Act’Image, a Non Profit Organization which was founded in 2012, is specialized in photography. Its goal is not only to promote photographic creation but also develop cultural events. Its objective is to favor the diffusion of photography and the understanding of images. It’s with this in mind that Act’Image created the contest What a Wonderful World! so that each one could show his vision of tomorrow’s Europe through photography.
The partnership of Act’Image with the cities of Mérignac and Bordeaux, will permit the chosen participants to be judged by a jury of personalities of the cultural world.
This jury will award prizes in the two following categories:
• The series of 15 photos
• The one shot picture
