"Where Does It Come From?" Photo Competition

Yorkshire Gallery, Creation Fine Arts, has announced a new competition opportunity for photographers in the Yorkshire and Humber region. "“There is a statistic, often quoted, which states that 25% of all rainwater falling on England is discharged through the mouth of the Humber," says Nigel Walker, owner of Creation Fine Arts. "We don’t know if that’s true but it prompts the question - Where does it come from? This year’s challenge to photographers therefore is show us!" All submissions must be at the gallery by 5pm on Saturday 26th October 2013. Selected photographers will be asked to confirm their willingness and ability to show their pictures in the gallery. Opportunity for Photographers to Have Work Exhibited in Yorkshire Gallery
Yorkshire Gallery, Creation Fine Arts, is following up on its best of the Bridge photo competition in 2012 with a new competition opportunity for photographers in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Nigel Walker, owner of Creation Fine Arts says:
“There is a statistic, often quoted, which states that 25% of all rainwater falling on England is discharged through the mouth of the Humber. We don’t know if that’s true but it prompts the question - Where does it come from? This year’s challenge to photographers therefore is show us! From the Peak District, Pennines or Dales; from smaller tributaries in East Yorkshire or Lincolnshire’s Wolds; in full spate or slow meander, storm or summer sun we’d like to see the water flow towards that estuary….”
The gallery is looking for the 30 best photographs to exhibit in early in 2014. The closing date is 26th October 2013 For full details and entry requirements please email [email protected] or see www.creationfinearts.co.uk
