World Press Photo Festival

The World Press Photo Foundation has announced a unique three-day festival taking place from 20-22 April in Amsterdam. Showcasing the best visual journalism and presenting the stories behind the stories, the World Press Photo Festival allows attendees meet the leading editors and visual storytellers from all over the globe. Confirmed speakers include Noor Images' Stanley Greene, Iranian photographer and filmmaker Amak Mahmoodian, documentary photographer Daniella Zalcman and TIME's Instagram Photographer of the year Ruddy Roye. Additional speakers will be announced in the run-up to the event.

WORLD PRESS PHOTO FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES UNIQUE THREE-DAY FESTIVAL IN AMSTERDAM

The World Press Photo Foundation invites visual journalism enthusiasts to a unique three-day festival taking place 20-22 April in Amsterdam. The festival will present the stories behind the stories and give ticket holders the chance to meet leading editors and award-winning visual storytellers from all over the globe.
Confirmed speakers include Noor Images' Stanley Greene, Iranian photographer and filmmaker Amak Mahmoodian, documentary photographer Daniella Zalcman and TIME's Instagram Photographer of the year Ruddy Roye. Many more speakers will be announced in the run-up to the event.
Canon Night: Friday 21 April
During this exclusive evening event guests will have the opportunity to visit the newly opened exhibition, and receive a guided tour from the winners of the 2017 photo and digital storytelling contests—a unique experience not to be missed. De Nieuwe Kerk, Amsterdam: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
