Affinity Photo Review

Conclusion

It’s clear that the Affinity Photo software still has some way to go. For now, it’s a good option for those who want to try something out and don’t mind experimenting with something that isn’t quite finished.

When the full program becomes available it will offer considerable value for money. Although at the moment you can pick up Photoshop CC & Lightroom for around £8 a month, once you’ve paid the £39.99 here, the software is yours to keep

Serif says that it is aiming this software at the professional market, but it still seems reasonably unlikely that the industry will be able to be swayed from Adobe software which it has been using for decades. However, the home user which is not so set in their ways, may find it an enjoyable piece of software to use, and it’s nice to have something on the market which at least offers some proper competition for the Adobe behemoth.

We’re looking forward to seeing the finalised version of Affinity Photo.
