Conclusion

Aurora HDR does an excellent job at blending and creating HDR images, from natural looking to garish - you have full control over how the finished image is going to look. The blending done in Aurora HDR is the best I've ever seen. The area of the tree branch at the top of the frame was not blended properly in Nik HDR Efex, Photomatix, or Photoshop HDR Merge. Aurora handled it with no issues at all. I highly recommend the Pro version as it gives you a number of invaluable features like unlimited layers and brackets, along with masking. You may find that you're using your other programs much less than before. If there's a drawback at this time, it's the lack of a Windows version. Not a problem for me as a Mac user, but MacPhun is promising a Windows version in the future.
