Conclusion

This is a well-functioning app in a stylishly designed layout, but you'll get the most usefulness if you pay to upgrade. The basic (free) version of the app is good, but, it arguably doesn't add too much that the existing Nikon, Sony and Canon free remote apps don't also give you.

By contrast, the paid for upgrades give you a good bonus in the form of the intervalometer which allows you to create images for a time-lapse shot quickly and easily, and gives you precise control over how you set that up.

The design and interface of the app is also very nice, being clear and easy to understand - sometimes proprietary apps over-complicate things, while this is laid out very plainly.

It's great that compatibility has been expanded to more cameras than just Canon cameras, and if you're looking for something which gives you an excellent level of control and is simple to use, then  this is a good choice of app. Downloading the free version gives you an idea of whether you want to pay for the additional extras - if you're somebody who likes to shoot time-lapses, has use for focus peaking, or you want to be able to download raw files to your phone, it's definitely worth the extra cost.
