MacPhun Intensify Pro Review

Performance
Intensify Pro is one of the most complicated apps that MacPhun offers, if you want it to be.
The presets work really well if you just want something simple and quick to bring out the details in your shots. It’s worth experimenting with the different presets to get the look you want, as some will be a little more extreme than you may like. Then again, it will mainly be down to personal preference as to how you want your finished image to look.
It’s also possible to reduce the intensity of any effect you apply to bring out a more subtle effect which just makes your image pop - this is something which can be used to great effect for architectural and landscape type shots, but should probably be avoided for certain other subjects, such as portraits.
Conclusion
MacPhun’s Intensify Pro is a great piece of software for those that like a certain look, or perhaps for those that take a lot of a certain type of subject - mainly architecture and landscape shots.
It’s a great piece of software for differing skill levels, and no matter what your experience you should find something to like about Intensify. If you just want a quick and easy change of look for your image, just use one of the presets (of which there are a great variety), or if you want to take more control you can.
You could almost use the software as your only photo editing package if you don’t have anything else, but it can also be very easy to go over the top with an HDR effect and apply it to all of your photos - something you may have to reign in.
Although it’s not as cheap as some of the other MacPhun apps, it’s also a lot more complicated (if you want it to be) so it still works out as good value for money.
