Conclusion

Of course there will be some who prefer a great deal of control over their images who won’t enjoy using Photolemur, but for those who want something quick, yet effective, it’s a really simple and intuitive solution.

Getting to know the software doesn’t take several hours of experimentation and guesswork as you so often find with photo editing software, and the fact that you can open raw format files and do batch processing is particularly useful for busy amateur photographers who don’t want to spend hours in front of the computer screen.

It’s also well-priced. Right now, you can get it for $29, with the full price going up to $49. For something that so effectively works, and you could realistically use for every image if you want, that’s quite a good deal. The fact that you can change your mind and get a refund is even better too - if you find that you don’t like the simplicity and losing complete control for instance.

Another use for this software could be that you perform initial edits in it, and then open a more advanced piece of software, to finish it off or do something more precise - or indeed the other way around, using Photolemur to give a final flourish to something you’ve already begun editing elsewhere.

Overall, this seems like a fantastic solution for amateur photographers who just want to get their images processed and ready for sharing online, printing or saving with the minimum of fuss.
