Samsung have introduced the Samsung PRO Endurance microSDHC/microSDXC card, which offers industry-leading endurance and up to 43,800 hours of continuous video recording.

Sony is expanding its External Solid-State Drive (SSD) range with a brand new top of the range SL-E series. This new model is a stylish, high-capacity external SSD that is small enough to put in your pocket but powerful enough for high-speed and safe data transfer.

Hasselblad have knocked a whopping £2000 off the price of the Hasselblad X1D-50c mirrorless medium-format camera. The offer is apparently only valid for orders taken at The Photography Show in Birmingham, making it by far the biggest show discount, but a quick Google reveals that retailer Robert White are also currently offering the same price of £6,388 for online orders, so it may be that the new lower price will continue after the show closes today.

Wacom has launched their new Intuos pen tablet to “Get Creative”. A new, significantly upgraded version of its Intuos pen tablet for creative beginners and enthusiasts, it is bundled with software for drawing, painting and image editing.

The Wacom Cintiq Pro Engine is a compact PC module that converts the Cintiq Pro into a powerful Windows 10 workstation. Panasonic has announced the world's first 8K high-resolution global shutter technology. This can capture 36 megapixel images at 60fps using a CMOS image sensor with an organic photoconductive film (OPF). Utilizing the global shutter function that enables simultaneous image capture by all pixels, Panasonic expect to be able to capture moving objects instantaneously without distortion. Will we see this sensor used in the successor to the GH5/GH5s cameras?

The Hasselblad H6D-400C MS is a new 400 megapixel multi-shot camera. With an effective resolution of 400MP (23200 x 17400 pixels) via 6 shot image capture, or 100MP resolution in either 4 shot Multi-Shot capture or single shot mode, the Multi-Shot capture requires the sensor and its mount to be moved at a high-precision of 1 or ½ a pixel at a time via a piezo unit. To capture Multi-Shot images the camera must be tethered to a PC or MAC. The H6D-400c MS will begin shipping March 2018 with a MSRP of € 39,999 / $ 47,995 / £ 36,250 excl. VAT. Pre-orders start on January 16th.

GoPro has announced a series of cost-cutting measures today, including its decision to exit the drone market and reduce its workforce. This will enable an $80 million reduction in operating expenses compared to 2017 levels. In 2018, GoPro will continue to innovate with several new products aimed at new and existing customers.
