Ricoh is exhibiting three K mount interchangeable lenses as reference models at Photokina 2014. The HD PENTAX-DA 16-85mm F3.5-5.6ED DC WR (available Winter 2014) will feature a weather-resistant construction, high-grade HD coating, smooth, quiet AF operation thanking to a lens-installed AF driving motor, and a small and light weight size. In addition a high magnification super-telephoto zoom lens and a large diameter telephoto zoom lens are also being shown.

The ZEISS Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM is a new prime lens for Leica M rangefinder cameras. At a maximum aperture of f/1.4, this lens creates a pleasing bokeh, which optically enhances the background as the main composition element. At the same time it directs attention to the main motif in the foreground. Optimized for digital sensors, the Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM also stands out for its excellent flat image field. Thanks to the Distagon’s optical design, the lens delivers a high resolution across the entire image field. The Zeiss Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM will be available worldwide, in silver and black, starting in the fourth quarter of 2014. The suggested retail price will be EUR 1.679,84 or USD 2.290,00.

Leica presents two high-performance lenses for the Leica T camera system at Photokina 2014. With a zoom range equivalent to 17 to 35 mm in 35 mm format, the Leica Super-Vario-Elmar-T 11–23 mm f/3.5–4.5 ASPH. offers excellent sharpness for particularly wide-coverage shots. A zoom range equivalent to 80 to 200 mm in 35 mm format makes the Leica APO Vario-Elmar-T 55–135 mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH. particularly versatile. Both lenses will be available from authorised Leica dealers beginning in January 2015. The iconic Leica NOCTILUX-M 50 mm f/0.95 ASPH. and Leica SUMMILUX-M 35 mm f/1.4 ASPH. Leica M-Lenses are now available in silver. The technical specifications of both lenses are identical to those of their serially produced counterparts. The NOCTILUX-M 50m /f0,95, silver anodized will cost £7500.00 RRP. The SUMMILUX-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. Silver will cost £3550.00 RRP.

Leica have unveiled a new generation of the Leica Summarit-M-Lenses with improved performance and new design. In comparison with the previous models, these new lenses with a maximum aperture of f/2.4 offer improved performance characteristics and new lens design. The range of focal lengths available in the Leica Summarit-M-Lens family remains the same, with 35, 50, 75 and 90 mm. For the first time, they are now available in a choice of black and silver anodised finishes.
