IDimager 5.1 is the latest release of the powerful DAM software application. Version 5.1 improves the overall speed of the application, with importing and synchronizing images now twice as fast as the previous version. Epson and Thinxtream Technologies have announced a new mobile printing application – PrintJinni for Epson – that allows Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users to easily print JPEGs, PDFs and other files from an e-mail account to any Wi-Fi-enabled Epson all-in-one. Providing simple set-up and e-mail attachment support for Gmail, Microsoft Exchange, Apple MobileMe, AOL and other IMPA-based e-mail accounts, PrintJinni for Epson prints over Wi-Fi without the need for an intermediate PC. Corel has announced CorelDRAW Premium Suite X5, a new product based on its CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. Tamron is to release a profile for the lens aberration correction plug-in in Adobe Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5. The lens profile will include Tamron’s Di series (lenses for full size image sensors) and the Di II series (lenses for cameras with APS-C size image sensors.
