The Sony A100 is a new DSLR from a company better known for its digital compact cameras. Sony are taking on Nikon and Canon, boldy predicting that they will be the number 2 player very shortly, and the A100 has been heavily promoted by the Sony marketing machine. With good reason too - the list of technologies that the Sony A100 offers is certainly comprehensive.
