Kenro has announced an updated version of its Braun Champion ActionCam. Featuring a 2-inch TFT display, longer battery life (up to 150 minutes), 130-degree lens and Wi-Fi functionality, the camera shoots Full HD (1920x1080p/30fps) movies and 5-megapixel stills. A waterproof housing is included with the kit, which is depth rated for 55 metres. The recommended retail price of the Braun Champion II ActionCam is £117 including VAT.

Kenro Ltd, the UK and Ireland distributor of Braun Photo Imaging products, has announced an updated version of its Braun Champion ActionCam.

The new Braun Champion II ActionCam features a 2 inch TFT Display, longer battery life (up to 150 minutes), 130 deg wide-angle f/2.8 lens, Micro SD Card capacity 32 GB, Mini HDMI interface and WiFi Function & App (SYMAGIX).

The camera has Full HD (1920x1080p/30fps) video shooting as well as CarCam and WebCam functions. File format is H.264 (movie) and JPG (picture).

Image capture is via 5.0 megapixel CMOS sensor and up to 16 megapixels for photos. The camera can also be operated by Smartphone (via the App) or with the included Remote Control.

A waterproof housing is included with the Kit that allows the camera to go as low as 55m depth. The battery is a changeable 1200mAh Lithium type with operating time of up to 150 minutes. Battery charging is via USB or car charger (included).

Also included in the Kit are: helmet mount, bike mount, suction cup, surfboard mount sticker and USB cable. Works with Microsoft OS.
