Kenro has announced the UK availability of two new Braun action cameras. The Braun Jumper 720p ActionCam HD (£49.50) is a 5-megapixel model capable of recording HD videos. The camera incorporates a 90-degree ultra-wide lens and a built-in microphone, and comes with a waterproof housing (up to 3m). The battery recharges via USB and lasts up to 70 minutes. The other camera (Braun Champion Full HD ActionCam, £110.22) shoots 1080p videos and features a 120°, f/2.9 lens as well as a 5-megapixel CMOS imager. It boasts integrated Wi-Fi functionality and a waterproof housing usable up to a depth of 45m. Operating time is 60 minutes with Wi-Fi and 110 without. Both cameras are available immediately.

New Braun ActionCams released

Kenro, the UK and Ireland distributor of the Braun Photo Technik product range, has announced the immediate availability of two new digital action cameras.

The Braun Jumper 720p ActionCam HD is a great looking video and stills camera that includes a waterproof housing (up to 3m).

The battery recharges via USB and lasts up to 70 mins operating time. The 720p/30fps Chipset and 5.0 MP resolution, combined with 90 deg wide angle lens and built in mic make the Jumper an ideal choice for many budget ActionCam situations.

Accessories included: WP Housing, Handlebar Mount, Helmet Mount, USB and AV Cables. Video format is AVI and the camera's supported OS is MS Windows.

The new Braun Champion Full HD ActionCam provides 1920x1080p resolution. It benefits from WiFi function and has a waterproof housing giving usability up to 45m depth.

The Champion has a 5.0 MP CMOS sensor and 120 deg f/2.9 lens with H.264 movie file format giving 1080p/30fps or 720p/60fps. Data transmission is via USB 2.0 and there is also a mini HDMI interface. Micro SD Card capacity is 32GB (SDHC).

The unit can also operate as a car cam or webcam in addition to action movies and still photos (JPEG format). Operating time is 60 mins in WiFi mode and 110 mins without. Battery charging is via USB. OS supported is MS Windows.

Accessories included are: WP housing, helmet and bike mounts, suction cup, car charger, surfboard mount and sticker, remote control and USB cable.
