New, super-powerful video light

Video lights are becoming ever more popular. For this reason, Metz is con-stantly expanding its mecalight product range and is now putting the new, super-powerful mecalight LED-960 on the market. The LED-960 video light provides an enormous illuminance of up to 960 Lux. The light output from the mecalight LED-960 can be regulated as required using a dimming wheel on the back of the device. The new mecalight LED-960 is available in two versions - the LED-960-DL (Daylight) and LED-960-BC (Bicolor). The Bicolor version includes an extra dial on the back, making it possible to seamlessly change the colouring and mix the light. By using a rail (sold separately), two mecalight LED-960 units can be attached to each other and mounted centrally on one camera, thus creating more lighting power and varied illumination. To ensure flexibility when filming in any situation, artificial light filters and dif-fuser filters are also included as standard. The standout feature of the mecalight LED-960 is the ability to control it wirelessly, making it possible to position the light anywhere within the filming location. With the new mecalight LED-960, there are almost no limits to the user's freedom, with the product's high light output of particular benefit. Six AA mignon batteries or rechargeable batteries ensure that the mecalight LED-960 has sufficient power. The LED-960 can also be powered with a Sony NPF rechargeable battery or using the mains.
