Equipped with other fun and functional features, MeCam HD is versatile for both video and photography. A high grade glass lens provides true color representation with high contrast and rich color saturation. A 3-axis internal gyroscope provides image stabilization for when the user is moving. Photo options include a simple one shot, three time burst options where you can take a series of photos in quick succession, and three different time lapse options for activities such as life-logging. The MeCam HD also includes useful video tools such as one button, which will take 15 seconds of video for seamless Instagram upload and another button, which will take 5 seconds of video for Vine.

To change the way users share their content, MeCam has also partnered with HighlightCam to provide an amazing proprietary video editing solution. The program works by singling out the “highlights” of the footage and shoots back a fully edited video seamlessly. MeCam is working diligently to incorporate this technology into the MeCam app so their users can easily submit their footage and receive back an amazing edited video, all through their phone. Once incorporated, users will also have access to this through the MeCam site, where they can take edited footage and share it with friends and family.

The two wearable brackets, the clip bracket and the safety pin bracket, provide various creative options in which to wear/attach the MeCam HD to different clothing and subjects. It also comes with a sturdy neck strap, giving the user a multitude of choices on how best to wear their device. MeCam will be releasing other mounting and casing options including a universal camera mount for tripods and an attachable waterproof case.
