Pretec 4GB MMC Plus 266X Extendable to 2TB, the Fastest Flash Memory Card in the World

BERLIN, Germany—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Sept. 4, 2005—Pretec Electronics Corp., the 1st in the world to demonstrate MMC 4.0 card since 2004, and the 1st in the world to offer 4GB SD card since July 2005, has released 4GB MMC Plus 266X, the largest capacity MMC card, and the fastest flash memory card in the world, today at IFA 2005 (Hall 7 1B, Booth #124) in Berlin.

“Image quality is a decidedly mixed bag. As I’ve said in other reviews, if you simply desire to print 4x6 or 5x7 prints, the Z1 will do the job. However, in many shaded outdoor photos or indoor photos the images are noisy. In others, the photos appear as if a slight mosaic filter was applied to the image. Lines in images lack definition and patches of solid color appear mottled. This is true of many of the test photos I took.”

PCMagazine have published their review of the Canon PowerShot S2 IS, a 5 megapixel digital camera with a 12x optical zoom equivalent to 36–432mm on a 35mm camera.

This means that inattention can cause the ball to be over loosened and can lead to the camera flopping forward. The blue band in the picture is a separate “set and forget” friction control. You can adjust the friction on the loose ballhead to the amount that suits you.”
