DxO have released an update to the DxO ONE iPhone app. Version 1.3 introduces several new features that further extend the use of the DxO ONE camera, including the ability to use the OLED display as a novel framing assistant to help quickly compose while operating the camera with one hand. The update also introduces a host of other features including motion blur alert, and a new way to dial in white balance, metering and focus modes, which can also be viewed as overlays in the viewfinder along with your iPhone battery level. Additionally, DxO have unbundled their desktop software from the package (DxO FilmPack and DxO OpticsPro now sold separately), enabling even more photographers to get their hands on the DxO ONE camera at a new low price of £399.

Olympus has announced the launch of the OM-D E-M10 Mark II Limited Edition camera. StreetFoto San Francisco is an annual international street photography festival that will host its inaugural event in several venues around San Francisco from 8-12 June 2016. The festival features a group exhbition by members of Burn My Eye, an influential international street photography collective; lectures by In-Public member Richard Bram, APF co-founder Vineet Vohra, Burn My Eye member Jack Simon and other prominent photographers; a panel discussion featuring a group of internationally known street photographers visiting the festival; private one-on-one portfolio reviews; photo walks through San Francisco’s most photogenic neighborhoods; organised pub crawls, and more. Nikon has released a new version of its photo sharing service, Nikon Image Space. The company has added three new modes that allow users to enjoy photos from a variety of angles. The "View" mode supports intuitive browsing of photos, and the new "Report" mode enables analysis of aspects such as photographic tendencies from shooting information for uploaded photos and feedback on shared photos. The "Organise" mode (computer version only) has been improved to enable easier photo organisation with a left-and-right pane layout.

Macphun Software has launched a three-month payment plan for Aurora HDR Pro. Rather than pay one upfront fee or committing to a monthly subscription, customers will be able to split the cost of Aurora HDR into three monthly instalments of £24. Sony today announced the PXW-Z150, the latest addition to its XDCAM range of lightweight professional camcorders with new functionality to enable wireless operation and 4K shooting. The Sony PXW-Z150 features a 1"-type stacked Exmor RS CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 20 megapixels and a 4K compatible 29-348mm equivalent zoom lens with an integrated four-stop ND filter, and supports Sony's 4K XAVC-L recording format. Full HD 120fps shooing is also supported for 5x slow-motion playback. The PXW-Z150 can be easily controlled by a smartphone or tablet using a Wi-Fi remote, and has a battery life which delivers a 400-minute recording time. High visibility is delivered with the wide view-angle and high contrast 0.39-type 1440K OLED viewfinder, alongside the 3.5-type 1550K LCD panel.
