The FinePix F420 Zoom is an exquisitely designed, extremely compact digital camera that is small enough to carry around at all times, stylish enough to impress your friends, yet doesn't forget to produce excellent images too. As with its bigger brother the FinePix F610 Zoom, this camera has the look and feel of a premium product, with its brushed aluminum exterior and excellent general construction. The large 1.8 inch LCD on the rear of the camera is a bonus and it produces impressive 3 megapixel images that aren't too noisy and don't suffer too much from chromatic aberrations. The only minor points that could detract from the FinePix F420 Zoom are the quirky square format and the slightly-too-small controls, but these are both things that I personally didn't find too annoying. So overall a highly-recommended digital camera that stands head and shoulders above the crowded entry-level marketplace.
