Conclusion

Having worked with Photoshop over the years I have managed to work out various ways to achieve many of the effects included with this version of Photoshop Elements. But for anyone new to image editing or the keen photographer who just wants to achieve a quick result, then Photoshop Elements 14 will not disappoint. The more advanced user may want to use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CC for more complicated photo editing.

Pros:

• Easy to use from a beginners point of view
• Create great effects from within the Guided Edit mode
• Organiser for quick access to collections of photos
• Fun to use
• Very fast importing of Media

Cons:

• Slideshow in the Organiser lacks full user control
• The Extract object can be difficult to use, but good results can be obtained with practice.
