Sharpness at 140mm
For these sharpness tests the Fujifilm XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR lens was attached to a Fujifilm X-T1 Graphite Silver body, which in turn was mounted on a sturdy tripod. Slight tonal changes are due to slight changes in natural light during the session.
The full frame at 140mm
At 140mm the centre is a little soft wide open, with peak performance achieved in the f/4-f/11 range. Diffraction sets in at f/16 and gets worse at f/22.
Eged performance is similar, with the best results again obtained from f/4-f/11.
