The Nikon Z 24‑70mm f/2.8 S II is a pretty spectacular upgrade. Hands up, I bought and owned the original Nikon Z 24‑70mm f/2.8 S, paying full price for it. Fabulous lens but a tad weighty for everyday shooting, hung off the front of a slimline Nikon Z system camera body. The Mark II is not only significantly lighter in weight but boasts a barrage of new features and enhancements. It’s pricier to buy but its top-notch design, handling and performance make it well worth the asking price. Top marks!
