Panasonic LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm F2.8 POWER O.I.S. Review

Sharpness at 280mm
The sharpness tests for this review were carried out using a real-world subject rather than a test chart. The Panasonic LEICA DG ELMARIT 280mm F2.8 POWER O.I.S. lens was attached to a Panasonic Lumix G9 compact system camera with the 1.4x teleconverter fitted, which in turn was mounted on a sturdy tripod. The self-timer was used to avoid any vibrations from pressing the shutter release. Slight tonal changes are due to slight changes in natural light during the session.
The full frame at 280mm
Both centre and edge sharpness are excellent from f/5.6-f/11. Diffraction starts to affect the image sharpness from f/16 onwards.
