Sharpness at 35mm

The sharpness tests for this review were carried out using a real-world subject rather than a test chart. The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Summilux 25-50mm F1.7 ASPH lens was attached to a Panasonic Lumix GH5 II camera body, which in turn was mounted on a sturdy tripod. Self-timer mode was activated. Slight tonal changes are due to slight changes in natural light during the session.

Both centre and edge sharpness are excellent from f/1.7-f/8. Diffraction starts to affect the image sharpness from f/11 onwards.
